Our Life Is Choice Driven

There comes a time when everyone has to make choices. We might like it or not; right choices bring the right things in our life. Wrong choices bring the wrong things in our life. Down the road we will meet our choices again and sometimes we ask ourselves where all those things came from. Not realizing that we made a decision somewhere in our life to follow that thought and exercised our will to bring the manifestation of that choice in our life.

Some people do extremely well in making decisions and making choices while others don't. There are several reasons for this distinction between the good and the bad. One of them is how we look at things and how we use our understanding and everything that we learned. This might be academically or just using good sense. Some people say "I just know". What they are talking about is that they are using their conscious or their instinct. Some people have developed this more than others. You need to know that it takes development; you can too!

Then there are the situations in life that help us to realize what we are doing; the lessons of life so to speak. We need to come to grips with ourselves why we choose what we choose. What is our motivation? Are we realizing what we are choosing or do we choose that life can have its natural flow in our life. This can be very disappointing though. This might be one of those choices that look good in the beginning, but we might end up in the ditch!

Our impulses have free play; we choose for whatever feels good. But that can be so deceiving and very detrimental and damaging to ourselves and to the people around us. But all in all the reason why we choose to believe some things as bad and something as good is thanks to our perceptions of things in general. Many people can testify to the fact that when choices are made with care and with consideration those are the choices that give us greatest satisfaction.

Maybe we can take marriage as one of these decisions as an example. After the day of saying the "YES" word to the person that we are going to spend our life with, we might find out after some time that things do not keep rolling along the road of romance and harmony in our marriage. It is important that we come to the realization that we were the ones that made the choice for our life partner and it was made after giving it much thought.

We also might make choices when we are confused or anxious in anxiety or even due to compulsion. Those are the ones that bring us the lessons of life on unexpected moments. This doesn't mean that these are the worst decisions that we ever made, but these so called wrong choices will give us numerous instructions that life teaches us, which might otherwise be left unattended to. Let's look at this a little closer.

You could be jealous at this moment. Let's say that jealousy is overtaking you at this moment and thought of jealousy enter your thoughts more and more. Here is your choice that you need to make. Thoughts come to all of us. We are the ones have been given the free will to choose. We can dwell on those thoughts or put them aside.

You have to come to the realization of this. Somebody said once; starve your wrong thought and feed your right thoughts. Thoughts become words;
• Choose Your Thoughts, for they become Words
• Choose Your Words, for they become Actions
• Choose Your Actions, for they become Habits
• Choose Your Habits, for they become Character
• Choose Your Character, for it becomes Your Destiny.
This is the process of your thought life and you have been given a free will to choose.
