Hexbugs are small creatures that can walk, run, and interact with each other. Their in-built sensors let them know when something blocks their path; it's great fun to watch them dodge each other and scurry about.
Many of these micro robotic bugs exist. Each specimen mimics a real life insect, and contains a rotating counterweight which helps them move around quickly in a realistic bug-like fashion.

The Hexbug Habitat Set is designed with 3 straight bridges, 4 curved bridges, and 3 hexagon pieces. Your child can get their creative juices flowing as they put together custom habitats for their creatures to inhabit.
Once the Hexbug Nano Habitat Set has been assembled, the creatures can be placed into it and scrambled around. They will then flip over each other and shuffle around. The more creatures your child adds to the set, the more crazy the habitat will become, and the fun levels will increase. Kids can stay enthralled for hours due to the realistic insect-like movements that the Hexbugs possess.
