An Affordable PACS System For Radiology

For many years, PACS, or Picture Archival and Communications Systems, were in the reach of only the largest hospitals with the largest budgets.  With the advent of new technology, the price of electronic and computer components has dropped dramatically, and this has had a complementary effect on medical technology systems as well.  Now there are PACS system vendors who create pacs workstations and ris pacs systems for small and mid-sized medical facilities, so that they can enjoy improved workflow and features at a reduced price.
