The Piazza has long been a place of importance for the people of Rome, and has hosted events all throughout history. The most popular attraction for people visiting the Piazza are its three immaculate fountains which demonstrate a classic Roman design. The Piazza may also be familiar to people from the role it played in Dan Brown's Angels and Demons.
Palatine Hill
Palatine Hill is one of the oldest sites in Rome which evidence showing that people have lived here for over 3000 years. In fact, archaeological excavations have confirmed that Palatine Hill is the site of a settlement that predates ancient Rome. This site is so full of history that new discoveries are being made every year.
