A guy scarf may come in various shades and fabrics. However, there are colors intended and widely used by men such as: neutral, solid, brilliant, and dark. There is no such thing as exclusive colors for men. Anybody can wear any color they want whether a scarf or an apparel. Since a scarf is a staple fashion accessory, choosing the right color has to be decided carefully in order to get the effect you want. There are some colors that best represent men, which are as follows:
Neutral
Neutral colors such as beige, cream, off-white, and egg-shell shades best suit dark-skinned men. They give a lightening tone to compliment their dark complexion. These are safe colors that would match anything and anybody regardless of age, gender and height. For men who have just started wearing a scarf and are afraid to play around with colors, these are ideal colors to begin with. They don't overdo the get up, they merely enhance to boost your self-image.
Solid
Solid means strong, secure, and safe. Any solid colors are just perfect when worn by men since it symbolize masculinity as compared to striped and floral designs. Solid colors for men's scarves are ideal during business meetings or any other formal events where authority has to be projected. When talking about solid colors, it means any shade as long as plain and unaccented. If you can get away with designs, much better since they denote soft side of men. Although there is nothing wrong in displaying femininity, when it comes to social conduct, men should act like men by wearing a virile garb.
Brilliant
Who says brilliant colors are exclusive for women? Men are also entitled to shine in the middle of the crowd by wearing something that radiates. I am referring to silk since these are one of the best fabrics used to make scarves. However, choose a brilliant color that is dark like black or gray to come out manly, yet sophisticated. Silky cloths are best when worn during special occasions such as parties, dinner meeting, or during balls.
Dark
The most common dark colors such as black, brown, and gray are meant for men. However, there are men who prefer to wear other colors like blue, purple, green, and red. As much as possible, limit the use of pink, mint green, yellow, and lavender since these are the usual preference of females. Although it is not a sin to wear such kind of colors, just make it a point to choose the deepest shade possible since dark hues are usually associated with men.
