Accessories and Options for Liberty Safes
A safe built by a reputable manufacturer like Liberty Safes, Browning, or Sentry will provide years and years of effective protection for your valuables, not only from unwanted access to your things from a thief, but also from the catastrophic effects of fire and other natural perils. Modern safes are attractive, affordable, and surprisingly versatile.
My personal favorites are the safes made by Liberty. Since a safe should be more than just a secure box to stash stuff away into, it makes sense to customize it with the accessories you want. Let's take a look at some of the creative and useful accessories available by Liberty safes.
Do you have important back up files from your computer you want to be sure don't get damaged? Do you have family DVDs or other media that you wish to give extra protection to? Then you should consider the Media Cooler as an essential accessory. This little box goes inside your safe to provide that extra layer of protection from damage by fire. It measures about a foot wide by just under a foot high and deep. It is perfect for storing those small electronic media that are so important and that are more easily damaged by heat than paper.
Another accessory by Liberty safes that is an available option is the Storage Cabinet. This is a four drawer storage system with two small top drawers and two large lower drawers. One of the lower drawers has built in brackets for hanging files. The smaller top drawers are perfect for storing smaller items such as coins and jewelry.
If you want to maximize storage space inside the safe, then the Shelving Kit for Storage Cabinet is a good option. This can be factory installed and provides 4 side shelves, a gun rack shelf, a cutout shelf and shelf covers.
Liberty Safes are reasonably sealed, but can still be just as susceptible to unwanted internal moisture as any other safe that exists in our atmosphere. So, one solution you may want to use is a Desiccant. A desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that absorbs excess moisture in the safe. It is reusable and helps sustain dryness. And everyone knows what an enemy to paper, metal, and other materials moisture can be. Liberty also offers electric dehumidifiers that serve the same purpose.
Other accessories available for Liberty Safes include:
- fluorescent interior lights
- electronic locks to replace the combination or key lock
- an anchoring kit for securing the safe to the floor
- cleaning kits that allows you to clean your safe without scratching the quality exterior finish
- specially designed pistol holders that offer both protection and convenience
- paint touch-up for matching your safe's high gloss finish
But my personal favorite accessory is the Door-Mounted Pistol Pocket. This attaches to the inside of the door and allows safe and protected holstering for 8 to 16 handguns.
Owning a quality gun safe from a manufacturer like Liberty Safes is perhaps one of the smartest purchases a business or home owner can make. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that your guns and other valuables are protected is just one of the important benefits that safe ownership provides. And, with the wide selection of useful accessories available, you can be sure that your safe is customized to give you just what you want and need.

Recarving Rushmore: Ranking the Presidents on Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty $24.2 Profiling each president on the merits of their policies and on the core principles of peace, prosperity, and liberty, this ranking system takes a distinctly new approach. Historians and scholars have long tended to respect the war heroes and men who have succeeded in expanding the power of the executive office. However, this new examination cuts through longstanding bias and political rhetoric to offer a new nonpartisan system of ranking that is based purely on strength of policies and adherence to the Founding Father's guidelines for limited government. These rankings will surprise most and enlighten even acknowledged experts on the presidency. |

Empire of Liberty $24.95 Empire of Liberty takes a new look at the public life, thought, and ambiguous legacy of one of America's most revered statesmen, offering new insight into the meaning of Jefferson in the American experience. This work examines Jefferson's legacy for American foreign policy in the light of several critical themes which continue to be highly significant today: the struggle between isolationists and interventionists, the historic ambivalence over the nation's role as a crusader for liberty, and the relationship between democracy and peace.
