Have you thought lately about investing in silver? It seems to make more sense these days, due to the falling dollar and financial situation of the United States. Silver has and always will be a safe haven for citizens looking to protect the value of the money they earn. Silver, like gold, is real money. Governments can say their paper money is real, but it really only has value because they say it does. When people lose confidence in paper money, fiat currency automatically loses its value.
Why should you invest in silver?
You should invest in silver to curb the inflationary affects of your country's paper fiat. Silver hedges against the rise and fall of currency and will protect the buying power of your money over time. You should also invest in silver because silver reserves below ground are running out. As this happens, you can expect a lot of speculators to enter the market. The price of silver will soar and increase the amount of money you have because of the reserves you hold.
What will make silver more valuable in the future?
The rise of China and India as economic powers will increase the demand for silver and also the price. As these countries continue to develop, their middle and upper classes will want more toys. They will want cars, TV's, smart phones and proper medical care. All these things have silver in them. With billions of people living in both nations, it is easy to see how silver can dramatically increase four or five times in price.
Silver's many uses
People do not realize that silver has over 2,000 uses. It is essential to our daily technological lives. It is found in every digital product that exists today in some degree. It is also used in the medical profession as a key agent in solutions that are used in operations and on infected wounds in hospitals. All germs die instantly when they come in contact with silver. It is a perfect natural sanitizer. Silver is also used in mirrors because of its refraction qualities and is also the best conductor of electricity when it comes to natural metals.
How much money can I make if I invest in silver?
The USGS has estimated that silver will run out of its reserves below ground worldwide by the year 2020. This means if you buy silver now you can expect that silver will be at least five times higher in five years than its current price.
Invest smart
Make sure you buy your silver from reputable companies online. It is a lot easier and you can check how reputable these companies are, before you decide to purchase from them. Many of these companies will charge a dollar over spot price. This is just part of the cost of buying silver from these companies. They are in the business of making money also and this is how they do it. The spot price is the current price silver is selling for in the market.
Investing in silver is about understanding everything about silver and getting in early. What good is it to know the important aspects of this metal, if you wait till silver is $2,000 an ounce. Do not wait and miss the huge returns that are coming when this metal soars. Silver in the next ten years will have a financial boom and those who miss out will be similar to those who missed the Internet boom in the 90's.

CHECKS AS MONEY . . 171 INTRODUCTION - IT is a strange thing that so little of the actual, physical story of money has been written. Whole alcoves in libraries are full of books on the theory of money. They argue without end over such questions as the gold and silver standard, over what should be back of the money that is issued, over measures to control its pur- chasing power, over inflation, credit. But none of them goes back to the beginning, tells the story of money as it came down through the ages, shows how it developed into its present form, pictures it as it is to-day. None of them tells the physical story of this thing which has much to do with the lives of men. And so people know little about their money. Who knows, for instance, that money started with copper pots Who knows that the first shilling was a fragment of a broken ring taken by the victors in battle from the arms of those whom they had slain Who knows why the United States based its currency on the old pieces-of-eight of the pirate stories instead of the shillings and pounds ofthe mother country Who knows how and why it came to pass that he can go to the bank and get five kinds of ten-dollar bills Who knows why there are enough silver dollars laid away in the treasure vaults of the government to load a freight train three miles long There is no book in the Congressional Library in Washing- ton which in an orderly way presents the facts with relation to the concrete development of the various forms of money with which we come into daily contact. I have worked long in getting these facts together and in attempting to make available the wonderful and romantic story of how this master tool came to the hand of man. In doing so I hope I have rendered a service. I hope I have made it easy for whosoever is curious to get a ready un- derstanding of this money which occupies so much of the attention of most people. THERE was a time when there was no money in all the world. There was none in the western world three thousand years ago. Then the people of Europe lived as simply as did the American Indians when white men first crossed the Atlantic. They had not learned how to use money. Money seems a very simple thing to the peoples of to-day, but some one had to work out the idea of it in the beginning. At the time it was invented there was little trave |

Paper Money Collapse $39.95 The case for the inevitable failure of a paper money economy and what that means for the future All paper money systems in history have ended in failure. Either they collapsed in chaos, or society returned to commodity money before that could happen. Drawing upon novel new research, Paper Money Collapse conclusively illustrates why paper money systems—those based on an elastic and constantly expanding supply of money as opposed to a system of commodity money of essentially fixed supply—are inherently unstable and why they must lead to economic disintegration. These highly controversial conclusions clash with the present consensus, which holds that elastic state money is superior to inflexible commodity money (such as a gold standard), and that expanding money is harmless or even beneficial for as long as inflation stays low. Contradicting this, Paper Money Collapse shows that: The present crisis is the unavoidable result of continuously expanding fiat money The current policy of accelerated money production to "stimulate" the economy is counterproductive and could lead to a complete collapse of the monetary system Why many in financial markets, in media, and in the policy establishment are unable (and often unwilling) to fully appreciate the underlying problems with elastic money This compelling new book looks at the breakdown of modern economic theory and the fallacy of mathematical models. It is an analysis of the current financial crisis and shows in very stark terms that the solutions presented by paper money-enthusiasts around the world are misguided and inherently flawed. |

Paper Money Collapse (Hardcover) $48.21 In an engaging style based on extensive research, Paper Money Collapse shows conclusively why paper money systems - monetary systems that are based on an elastic and constantly expanding supply of money (such as our system today) as opposed to a system of commodity money of essentially fixed supply - are inherently unstable and why they must lead to economic disintegration. All paper money systems in history ended in failure. The book shows why this must be the case and why it will also be the fate of the present system. The conclusions are controversial as they go against the present consensus, which holds that elastic state money is superior to inflexible commodity money (such as a gold standard), and that expanding money is harmless or even beneficial for as long as inflation stays low. The book shows that the present crisis is the unavoidable result of continuously expanding fiat money, that the current policy of accelerated money production to ‘stimulate’ the economy is counterproductive and that, if pursued further, it will lead to a complete collapse of the monetary system.Paper money systems are confidence games. When the public realizes that the printing press is increasingly used to keep states and banks solvent, this confidence will evaporate quickly. The endgame will then be sovereign default, hyperinflation and economic chaos. |
