Using Penny Auctions to win the Vacation of your Dreams
Can you imagine the excitement of surprising your wife or husband with an all-expenses-paid vacation to the spot that they have always dreamed about? Think that it’s just too expensive? Think again! What if I told you that you could get the vacation that you’ve only dreamed about for just pennies? Now, you might be thinking that you could never in your wildest dreams afford a vacation to Hawaii, Tahiti, Europe, or the beaches or Brazil and that I must be crazy or running some sort of scam in order to get you a vacation for just pennies. Let me tell you my secret.
To get you started, go to one of the penny auction sites such Nitrobids. Don’t waste your time searching for one of the “top” penny auction sites such as Swoopo; there are too many people constantly on that site which will keep you from scoring the deal you’re after. Stick to one of the newer sites in order to increase your chances of scoring that vacation package.
Once you’re on the site, go and register for an account and collect your free bids. If you don’t see the vacation package you’re after when you first visit the site, just be patient. These sites are constantly being updated with the new products and packages and if you wait, you’re bound to find the vacation package you’re searching after.
After registration, some sites will require you to buy a bid package. These package run anywhere from $5 to $250 depending on the site and the amount of bids you purchase. Buying a larger bid package will dramatically increase your chances of winning big. If these big bid packages are out of your price range, go for one of the smaller ones. You still have an excellent chance of winning even if you only purchase 10 bids.
Once you’ve registered and purchased the bid package that’s right for you, sit back and enjoy the auction. The item that you’re searching for might not appear immediately, but if you watch the auctions, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for.
When the vacation package you want appears on the screen, wait a second and see if someone else is going to bid on it. If no one enters a bid, submit yours. Many items will sell for only $.01 because everyone else is too preoccupied watching the other auctions to notice the amazing vacation package selling for just a penny.
If you are outbid, wait until the timer is just about ready to run out. By doing this, you let other potential bidders use up their bids without having to use any of yours. Hopefully, the other bidders will either use up all of their bids or move on to another item and leave your vacation package alone. Once all the competition is either distracted or out of bids, place your bid and watch the timer run out. If no one outbids you—you win! Now pay for your deeply discounted vacation package and surprise your loved one with that second honeymoon and make the memories that will last a lifetime and draw you closer together.

As a caring and loving husband, he lost his wife to cancer. As a man, he rejected and lost his God. As an intelligent human being he eventually found and followed a trail of bright, shiny pennies. And who would ever think something as small as a penny could have the greatest lure and effect on a personas life, and would mirror in color the most painful and joyful moments in Eddieas life? Grief and guilt become like a heavy chain around his neck, pulling him down further into the depths of sadness. Slowly, he is transformed, strengthened and slowly guided away from his living hell by bright, shiny pennies, to the blissful future that awaits him. |

Pressed Pennies $3.95 Pressed Pennies is mainstream fiction, written from a male perspective to a female audience. A la Nicolas Sparks and Robert James Waller, it is a tale of connecting love stories, proving that the world really is a small place and that the trick is to cherish it by living each of its moments to the fullest. Amid the heart-warming romances and deceitful twists and turns, Pressed Pennies tackles the trying issues associated with living in a non-traditional family. In an era of divorce and single-parenthood, it is a story about raising children and peacefully co-existing; making it work with mutual respect and consideration. The book's underlying theme is discovered in the evolution of the 80's child. Though life begins as wholesome and innocent, technology quickly takes over. Suddenly, two parents must leave the home and go to work. Day care, fast food and a list of coveted luxuries replace long talks in porch swings, tree forts and family suppers. The price for comfort proves very expensive, though, as the American family is traded in for the American dream. Early Reviews: "Steve Manchester has a gift for expressing through his writing the complicated and transcendent beauty of the human experience with poignant clarity." -Yolanda King (eldest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King) Higher Ground "Pressed Pennies is priceless Steve Manchester has an obvious love of words and an amazing ability to use those words to create lasting images in the reader's mind. His detail-oriented, richly drawn characters and descriptions make this story leap off the pages." - Joyce Handzo, In the Library Reviews "Pressed Pennies is a tale of love and second chances and affirms thatlove can come at any stage of life if we are just open. This is a book that is sure to warm your heart." - Roberta Austin, The Compulsive Reader |
