Morgan Drexen Shares Information On How The Revolving Cycle Of Credit Is Too Much For Consumers
Morgan Drexen Shares An Article About How The Revolving Cycle Of Credit Is Too Much For Consumers To Control
Credit Card Companies Are Encouraging the Cycle of Debt as an Elderly Couple in Florida Fight to Control Their Debt the Credit Card Companies Offer More Credit. Morgan Drexen,Inc. Works with America's Law Firms to Reduce Debt and Stamp out This Victimizing Behavior.
LOS ANGELES, CA, OCTOBER 4TH 2010- More than 10 years ago Patricia Goodman and her husband William didn't know whether or not she could afford too treat her breast cancer. Rising premiums had forced Patricia to forfeit her much-needed health insurance. The treatment she was told would be in excess of $35,000 she knew it was debt or die.
The broken health care system has plagued millions of Americans. Many like Patricia have struggled to make ends meet for years due to poor health. The good news for many people is that the system is undergoing reform; sadly for the Goodman's that reform came all too late.
For Patricia Goodman it was the lack of health insurance that led to a downward spiral of severe debt. After enduring cancer and eventually losing a leg to non- Hodgkin's lymphoma disease, the Goodman's turned to an attorney based debt resolution program.
The Goodman's engaged with the Figueredo & Boutsis Law Firm supported by the legal automation of Morgan Drexen. They engaged with over $170,000 in debt. The couple had used 20 credit cards over a ten-year period to pay off their much-needed medical bills.
Bank of America was the biggest creditor for the Goodman's as they have eight accounts with debt totaling a little over $97,474. All the accounts were delinquent and the harassing calls came from dawn to dusk.
America's 5th ranked fortune 500 company claims to work closely with "policy leaders" on financial reform. Yet despite their apparent concern for consumer's just days after I visited with the Goodman's Florida home yet another credit card arrived. The Bank of America card offered another $6500 of credit for William Goodman. The Goodman's sent the credit card to their attorney who is now dealing with their high level of debt.
Patricia Goodman says, "Our health came first and now we are paying for that with debt that we simply can't cope with. Credit card companies should be more responsible." William Goodman has for now a high FICO score and that was the basis for the issuance of yet more credit. But it encourages us to get into more debt, I am not sure Bank of America followed the proper criteria on this allocation."
A spokesperson for Bank of America's Consumer and Small Business Banking says. "We look at a variety of things such as: credit score (FICO), debt, income, how long you've been paying your bills, and has the customer paid bills on time. "

Morgan's Pasture $13.11 ARSON SUICIDE IN THE SIERRAS-THREE DEADThe headline screams up at me from the concrete stoop and at first I can't bring myself to pick up the paper. It's insane, but I feel if I leave it there, what I fear to be true will remain just that, a fear.Child psychologist Will Border retreats to the summer of his thirteenth year after a traumatic event forces him to reexamine events and the choices he made in becoming a man. A period piece set in 1950s rural America, Morgan's Pasture guides young adult readers in examining their own roles in life as they develop into loners, followers, or even reluctant leaders like Will. With one eye on child psychology and the other on plain common sense, Morgan's Pasture offers a unique perspective on the growth of a boy and the longing of a man for a mythic peaceful pasture, not as a place to live, but as a reason to. |

Introducing Lee Morgan (Japan) $15.99 Personnel: Lee Morgan (trumpet); Hank Mobley (tenor saxophone); Hank Jones (piano); Doug Watkins (bass); Art Taylor (drums).Originally released on Savoy (MG 12091). Includes liner notes by H. Alan Stein.Young upstart Lee Morgan was earning his chops in Dizzy Gillespie's big band (the cover shows Morgan playing the famous "tilted trumpet") at the time of this recording. While his style was not yet fully formed here, Morgan dazzles with his stream of inventive ideas. On uptempo numbers, such as the opener "Hank's Shout," he alternates staccato bursts with eighth-note runs, and punctuates with subtle swing figures and mild shifts in dynamics. On slower numbers, like "P.S. , I Love You," "That's All" and "Easy Living," he displays a rich, open tone and a gentle handling of melody.Morgan is backed here by Hank Mobley's Quintet. Mobley, an accomplished and versatile stylist who deservedly shares the spotlight with Morgan in this session, also brings superior session men Art Taylor (splendid skinsman of the Max Roach school) and Hank Jones (Savoy veteran pianist) to the gig. The album is classic East Coast post-bop, textured and challenging, but with an intrinsic "cool" element, and it's full of great tunes and brilliant playing. |

Justin Morgan Had a Horse $3.95 "Joel's face suddenly lit up as if he had thought of something for the first time. He spoke now to the horse, as though he were the one that mattered. "Why, come to think of it, you're just like us, Bub. You're American That's what you are. American "" In 1791 a Vermont schoolmaster by the name of Justin Morgan comes home with a two-year-old colt named Little Bub. Taken as payment for an outstanding debt, the little colt doesn't seem like he is worth much, but the kindly teacher asks one of his students, Joel Goss, to train him. Joel knows the horse has great potential, and soon word about Little Bub spreads throughout the entire Northeast for his ability to outwork, outrun, outtrot, and outwalk any horse in the area. This is the extraordinary tale of a little workhorse, who, after being born in obscurity, becomes one of the greatest breeding stallions of all time. In this true story Newbery Medal-winning author Marguerite Henry and artist Wesley Dennis celebrate the life of the only horse ever to establish a breed all by himself -- the Morgan. |

J.P. Morgan's Way $2.99 There is no arguing J.P. Morgan’s monumental influence. As both the guardian of America’s financial sturdiness and a well-appointed exploiter of the system’s regulatory shortcomings, Morgan’s actions raised questions that still resonate: What does it mean for Wall Street to be out of control? How best can government and business collaborate when it comes to buttressing a fragile economy? Should financial interests be allowed to profit from government bailouts? By delving into Morgan’s attitudes and way of thinking, we can begin to understand the motivations and limitations of modern-day financial giants like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and even Warren Buffett. These are lessons that none of us can afford to ignore. It would be a mistake to think of John Pierpont Morgan as the Ben Bernanke of his day. In truth, Morgan was more powerful than any Federal Reserve chairman, serving as a one-man central bank long before that institution’s birth in 1913. And although the financier died that year at age 75, he was indirectly responsible for the Fed’s creation. J.P. Morgan’s display of so much clout in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century stoked the nation’s inherent fear of concentrated wealth. It was a mixture of that fear and the recognition that the only man suitable for the role of central banker had lately departed this earth that ultimately led to the establishment of the Federal Reserve System. Henceforth, the government, not Morgan, would regulate the supply of money and credit, ensure the safety and soundness of the system, and step in to defuse financial panics. FDR's Utopian: Arthur Morgan of the TVA $31.99 Arthur E. Morgan (1878-1975) was a visionary who responded to a very high callingA a athe building of a perfect community, one based upon the bedrock of morality. He belonged to that late nineteenth-century generation of half-geniuses who were dramatically shaped by the conflict between religion and science. By the time of World War I he had become an archetypal progressive, a nationally recognized flood-control engineer, and a committed moral reformer. At heart he was a professed Utopian, dreaming of building a community whose center was education and whose foundation was strong moral codes. His first opportunity to create a Utopia came at Antioch College, and in the 1920s he brought it national fame with his innovative leadership, including the principle that all students should gain practical experience. His stern moralism and the coming of the Great Depression caused severe difficulties for him at this institution. He eagerly took on the new challenge offered to him by President Roosevelt in 1933A a aThe Tennessee Valley Authority. MorganA a a s selection as head of TVA came because of his national fame as an engineer as well as FDRA a a s sharing a measure of MorganA a a s ideas for change in the Tennessee Valley. Like Morgan, he found appeal in the ill-defined but immensely popular concept of social and economic planning. This book, the first to explore the career of FDRA a a s Utopian, is a soundly researched historical narrative that details MorganA a a s career and conflicts, such as the one with Harcourt A. Morgan and David E. Lilienthal, who rejected his proposal that all TVA employees sign a moral code. MorganA a a s Utopia was not without blemish, and they came close to vetoing his favorite TVA project, the creation of the model town of Norris, Tennessee. Within months after the beginning of the TVA, Morgan and Lilienthal were locked in a desperate struggle over the TVAA a a s electric power project, a fight in which MorganA a a s fatal flaw was his conscious neglect of the political arena, even a personal hatred for anything political. His strength was his close association with Roosevelt, for it made MorganA a a s version of the TVA one of the showpieces of the New Deal. The struggle with Lilienthal came to a climax in early 1938 when FDR had to intervene personally in a dramatic White House hearing that decided MorganA a a s fate and changed the future of TVA. |
