Japanese car runs on water is news that has been greeted by people around the world, who were waiting for vehicles which use cheaper sources of energy. With crude oil prices going up and showing no signs of coming down in the near future, researchers around the world are busy trying to find other alternative, cheaper and cleaner sources of energy. It has been found that hydrogen through fuel cell technology is one of the best alternate fuel sources that are available. Water is converted into hydrogen using this technology. Japanese car runs on water is therefore a not a hoax and a valid claim.
Water molecules are broken up into hydrogen and oxygen atoms in this technology. This is done using a conversion kit. This kit can be easily installed in the hood of almost any car. The creation of HHO, which is as you can see two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen is enabled by a process known as electrolysis. HHO is popularly referred to as Brown's gas. This gas is then passed into the combustion chamber of the car's engine.
Japanese car runs on water is therefore, welcome news. HHO acts as a secondary source of energy when it combines with the already existing gasoline inside the car. The mixture is able to produce more torque and improves the fuel efficiency considerably. It separates the Brown's gas when passing through the engine thus cleaning up carbon deposits too. This in turn means a smoother, cleaner and more efficient engine.
Although the technology has been in existence for a very long time now, it is only recently that has increasingly under focus because of the stringent pollution control measures in place. So, the next time around you hear Japanese car runs on water, you should not think that is an exaggerated claim. The technology is here and it holds happy tidings for motorists around the world.
