Yes there are fish finders that can do everything except wash the dishes. And whether your on just a day fishing trip or planning a few days at sea, you can count on the performance of what the folks over a Eagle have to offer in fish finders. When you go looking for a fish finder that have all the works and performance, Eagle Marine products can fulfill your needs. Eagle offers top of the line fish finders that also include single function units, portable fish finders, and my favorite the GPS Combos. Here is two units I'd like to share with you.
The Cuda ® 350 S/MAP Compact Fish finder/Mapping GPS is an incredible value in a sonar and/Chartplotter combo with built-in mapping. Find fish, yourself, and your way, even in rain or fog, while marking spots and recording trails for return trips. This unit has a built in high-detail mapping of lakes, rivers, and the U.S coastal waters. It also has a compact 200 khz skimmer transducer with a built- in sensor and up to 60 degree of coverage in fish finding capability. It can reach depths of up to 600ft. The space saving case is designed with an internal 12 parallel channel GPS +WAAS antenna. I like watching what is beneath me in the water.
Do you prefer an internal antenna over an external antenna? If so, this combo sonar & mapping iGPS is a good choice. The Eagle Fishlite 642C iGPS with it's 256-color, sunlight-viewable 640Vx480H pixel, high-res TFT display is just a lot of fun to use. It offers a choice of six color display modes to match outdoor lighting conditions, and helps reveal fish hidden in underwater cover. It's advanced Fish I.D shows underwater targets in different sizes of fish symbols. It also has a built in 12 parallel channel GPS+WAAS antenna like the Cuda 350. It also has the mapping capabilities, and depth reads down as far as 800 ft.
A note of interest, most of your fish finders read depth better in fresh water that sea water, so installation and configuration of the transducer should be taken into consideration when purchasing most fish finders.
