•In the year 2008, a wedding salon owner Renee Strauss along with a jewel dealer, Martin Katz collaborated to create one of the world's most baffling garments – a stunning bridal dress that shows off 150 carats of diamonds!
It's a surprising white strapless sleeveless dress with a crochet and a skirt, studded all over with sparkling diamonds and it claimed a shocking 12 million dollars.
The dress began being made in 2006 and was finished and revealed two years later. It is considered to be one hell of a commercial stunt and no celebrity or even customer is known to wear it ever.
•The gown that Princess Diana wore on her wedding day in 1981 is one of the most famous and expensive bridal dresses ever. It has an elegant 25-foot long train and was created from antique lace and ivory silk taffeta. It is studded with more than ten thousand pearls and sequins. The material of the dress is handmade and the lace was sewn in place with real gold thread.
Created by designers David and Elizabeth Emanuel, this awe-striking royal and classy gown that adorned the body of one of the most beautiful princesses of England, has a value that is unknown by the world.
•When Prince Rainier III of Monaco betrothed the American actress Grace Kelly in 1956, the bridal dress was a Helen Rose design. Crafted with a hundred yards of silk net and twenty five yards of silk taffeta. With a round neck-collar and a fitted bodice, sporting a full length skirt, the wedding dress was regarded as one of the most beautiful and costly wedding dresses ever for the wedding was also regarded as the ‘wedding of the century'. This invaluable dress was made by using antique lace and peau de soie fabric.
•Yumi Katsura, the Japanese bridal dress designer created a stunning bridal grown which sports one of the only two rare 5 carat white gold diamonds in the world, besides a 8.8 carat green diamond. It is studded with around a thousand pearls and the exquisite mughal zari work from India, embroidered onto the silk and the satin that is used to make the dress.
Known to be worn by no one yet, the flabbergasting fish tail wedding dress with a round collar and leafy design can be traded at the price of a striking eight million U.S. dollars.
•Melania Knauss wore a John Galliano bridal gown at her wedding with Donald Trump in 2005 which weighed an impossible 50 pounds! The gown has a 13 foot long train and is made from a 300 feet white duchesse satin. It is studded with sparkling 1 thousand and 500 pearls and crystal rhinestones.
