Following the stock market can literally make you nauseous. Watch it creep up, and then watch it fall. There were times last summer I would see it up in the morning and come back later to find historic drops.
Enough. You could spend your time tracking the decline of your children's college funds or watch your retirement being pushed off by five years, or you could begin to secure your financial future. One piece of silver at a time.
It sounds like a simple solution to rising prices, the declining value of the dollar, and rampant inflation. And it really is. Silver is easy to invest in and will net investors generous profits as it rises in value.
How to Get Started
Silver has the advantage of being very easy to buy, and at this time, very inexpensive. Those new to precious metals investing will want to look for junk silver coins. No, this is not a joke: junk can net you huge profit.
Junk coins are those that have no value as collectors' coins. They do, however, have tremendous value for investors. Coins such as the Mercury and Roosevelt dimes, Franklin and Kennedy half dollars, and Washington quarters minted in 1964 or before have 90 percent silver contents.
Investing In Silver Now
To make an ounce of silver, you need only 10 junk coins of pre-1965 origin. At the beginning of 2009, this ounce would have been worth $13.00 for investors. Today, it is worth $16.65.
That is for one ounce: a bag that nets 715-720 ounces of refined silver would net investors substantial profits. It is possible to build a small fortune one piece of silver at a time. All trends indicate that silver will continue to rise in value, especially as inflation grows.
Now is the ideal time to invest in silver because prices are still low enough to allow average investors to purchase substantial amounts of the metal. Junk coins are the perfect place to start because they are easily available and relatively inexpensive.
But they will not be inexpensive forever. Will silver reach $100 per ounce? $1000?
No one knows for sure, but all economic indicators point to it increasing steadily. That junk silver you've been collecting? Suddenly it is a considerable investment.
Where to Start
Start now, and start with eBay. You can find junk silver coins for relatively low prices, and because you can bid, it can be an excellent way to begin your investment. You can also try CMI Gold and Silver, Monex, CC Gold and Silver, and Lynn Coin, all of which have websites.
When is just as important as where, and the time to start is now. For help, download our Free Guide.
