What would it feel like to make a million dollars a year in your business? For so many people this thought is out of reach. You may not know this, but making millions of dollars yearly in income wasn't on my mind years ago when I started a home based business with my husband, but that's exactly what has happened. How'd I do it?
Here are my "7 Secrets To Making Your First Million Dollars"
- Get into action today to make your first telephone call (prepare yourself and what you will say, what you will present to your prospect and the followup you will take to secure the sale) and attempt to reach at least 12 (and as many as 30) people a day. Leave enticing messages if you get voice mail with a call to action.
- Cold-call if necessary (don't wait for them to come to you), but know who the decision makers are so you are not wasting your time
- Follow up! Direct mail (checklist) and more phone calls providing value and assistance (Hand write a personal thank you card and show your gratitude, remember their birthday, send a Thanksgiving card of gratitude, wish them a Happy New Year) and remind them of new services, products, specials and things of value that are important to them.
- Place considerable emphasis on your efficiency and service to your prospect/client and make them feel like the #1 client on your list (no matter how small their business). Take their calls to answer questions, build trust and credibility. Be sure to frequently THANK them when they place orders.
- Provide a product or service that is unique and top-quality. If you don't have this... start over.
- Never stop personally interacting with your clients. Don't turn them over to a customer service rep. Never think you are too big in your business to work with a customer. It's your business, your livelihood. Treat them as if they were your only client.
- Educate yourself to further enhance your skills and then use this knowledge (implement it!) So for example, if you don't have basic sales skills learn them! These skills are the number one reason, we were able to make it to our first million dollar year.
Use these proven secrets to build your first million dollar business and you'll be well on your way to making your NEXT million!

A Fistful of Dollars - Widescreen $4.99 By the time Sergio Leone made this film, Italians had already produced about 20 films ironically labelled "spaghetti westerns." Leone approached the genre with great love and humor. Although the plot was admittedly borrowed from Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo (1961), Leone managed to create a work of his own that would serve as a model for many films to come. Clint Eastwood plays a cynical gunfighter who comes to a small border town and offers his services to two rivaling gangs. Neither gang is aware of his double play, and each thinks it is using him, but the stranger will outwit them both. The picture was the first installment in a cycle commonly known as the "Dollars" trilogy. Later, United Artists, who distributed it in the U.S., coined another term for it: the "Man With No Name" trilogy. While not as impressive as its follow-ups For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966), A Fistful of Dollars contains all of Leone's eventual trademarks: taciturn characters, precise framing, extreme close-ups, and the haunting music of Ennio Morricone. Not released in the U.S. until 1967 due to copyright problems, the film was decisive in both Clint Eastwood's career and the recognition of the Italian western. ~ Yuri German, Rovi |

For a Few Dollars More (DVD) $28.8 In the second film in Sergio Leone`s Spaghetti Western trilogy (A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS being the first and THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY the last), the Man with No Name (Clint Eastwood) teams up with gunslinger Colonel Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef) in order to extract reward money from Indio (Gian Maria Volonte), a mean and vicious bandit. There is little doubt as to No Name`s financial intentions in the hunt, but Mortimer seems to be driven by something a bit deeper. A series of flashbacks (which would become a Leone signature device) provides the background for Colonel Mortimer`s anger and desire for revenge. Morricone`s score combined with Leone`s trademark long and lingering shots bring the viewer ever closer to the human side of the Man with No Name. Although the film was not released in the United States until 1967, it was produced and released internationally in 1965. |

A Fistful of Dollars - Western Legends (DVD) $16.09 The first true Spaghetti Western follows the exploits of a nameless drifter (Clint Eastwood) who wanders into a town torn apart by greed, corruption, and revenge. The clever, tough-talking gunslinger then plays the town`s two feuding families off each other to his own benefit. As members of each family are planted in the ground, the gold in his pockets gets heavier and heavier. This violent remake of Akira Kurosawa`s YOJIMBO made Eastwood a star, and sparked two sequels--FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE and THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY--to form what is now referred to as the Man with No Name trilogy. All three films starred Eastwood, featured Ennio Morricone`s distinctive musical compositions, and were directed--in a wonderfully gritty style--by Sergio Leone. Although the film was not released in the United States until 1967, it was produced and released internationally in 1964. |
