This is a really super affordable place to eat just off the Strip. You can find cheap coupons and a ton of discounts for this place and you can end up eating here for about three dollars (read next paragraph about this) but even its regular price is incredibly cheap, from $5.99 to $14.99 (the latter is the very top price of a weekend dinner!)
This super affordable place is close enough to the Strip to make it a viable option if budget is an issue or if you stay in the area. Never miss an opportunity to go through the local newspaper because, in an effort to attract the locals, this super affordable place often publishes coupons which will allow you to eat here for about three dollars! All you have to do is cut out the coupon out and present it at the cashiers! Come on, you cannot even buy a bottle of pop for one dollar!
We ate here several times in order to provide an accurate account of variety, quality and quantity:
Fast food. This is the operative 'word' here. If you like fast foods, you will be happy enough here because you can eat a lot of it for the very low fixed price.
The most popular option here is the made-to-order burgers. The burger meat is cooked for you in the same way any fast-food outlet will cook it (it's also the same type, so if you expect gourmet meat go to other places recommended below) you will have a choice of processed cheese and all the other garments you would expect from any run-of-the-mill burger. What we liked about this option is that we could at least add healthy garments from the salad section. If you like fast food burgers you will love this burger and the healthy option garments is always a welcome bonus.
Pizza: it's the high-doe type so we avoid it, but if you're not fussy you'll love the high amount of processed cheese generously layered.
Carving station: yes, there's also a carving station so meat lovers can continue to feast on meat! Hot dogs and sausages are also available here.
Pasta: run-of-the-mill pasta selection with mountains of macaroni and cheese.
You can also find cooked fish (which is a welcome option for non-meat eaters) as well as the ubiquitous Mexican and Chinese stations.
The pleasant surprise here is the presence of a salad station with enough variety to satisfy someone who is at least trying to eat some healthy options! Of course the quality of the salad is not the best, but it's quite passable for this price!
The dessert section is large and good enough for the very low prices.
All in all, if you consider the very low prices, this super affordable place is a must-go if quantity and budget are a must for you. There are other chap buffets off Strip though (more on this later), but this, with the coupon is the cheapest.
To go there you can of course drive or just catch the bus off the Sahara Resort. Incidentally, if you stay at the Sahara, you may actually prefer this one over the Sahara's. We certainly do, considering price versus what you eat.
