HOW TO COMPENSATE FOR YOUR EDUCATION:
The main reason behind education is not to merely acquire a diploma or degree in a particular field, but rather the fundamental principle of education is to develop certain necessary skills which will in turn enable you to apply the knowledge in an innovative as well creative manner so that something new can be created. So if due to some problems if you have been unable to avail higher education, there is no need to worry about it. You can venture into different types of businesses that require only about 1% capital and more than 99% creative and innovative skills in order to grow. Examples of college or school dropouts who have made it big and have become billionaires are plenty and these people are now hiring many highly educated and well-qualified people to work for them. This does not mean that education is not required or necessary, rather it is quite important, but there are millions who miss out on the opportunity because of a want for resources or poverty issues..
HOW A FORTUNE IS MADE:
Wealth can be generated only if you can offer a product or service that is useful for the consumers. If you can use your creative skills to develop a product that is both innovative and exclusive; develop an idea or service that might prove useful in reducing cost and adding value or take an existing product and turn it into a lighter, smaller and a powerful product, and if these services or products appeal in terms of utility to customers or business man, then no one can really stop you from making money. By reading biographies of school and college drop-outs self made billionaires you can get an insight as how they made millions.
Millions of people do not get a chance of acquiring higher education-
Millions of people have been unable to get higher education because of a poor financial status. Generally these people accept this scenario as their destiny and then either begin a very small scale business or get a petty job and then struggle for their entire life in order to meet basic routine requirements. They do not ever think big because they are way too hassled thinking about meeting their basic daily requirements of food, clothing and shelter and thus can never rise in life.
THEY REMAIN POOR BECAUSE OF WRONG ASSUMPTIONS:
Most of the people who fall in the above mentioned category have the notion that since they neither have huge capital for investing nor high educational qualifications, it is not possible for them to start a business or get a well-paying good job. Because of such notions they try to look for people to refer them to some job and thus they are ready to do whatever comes their way. Such people also have a wrong assumption that every business needs an investment of millions of dollars and since they do not have that much of money, they can never really dream of starting a business of their own. Also such people harbor the notion that due to a lack of higher education, it is almost impossible for them to get a better job. These assumptions can be attributed to the fact that these people read or hear about corporate houses and large firms that make up for billion dollar industries and appoint highly skilled and qualified technocrats, software engineers, etc. Thus these people drop all ideas of setting up a new business since they feel that they would not be able to compete with these corporate 'giants' who spend millions of dollars in R&D and advertising and have many brands that enjoy great popularity.
HUNDREDS OF SCHOOL AND COLLEGE DROP-OUTS HAVE BECOME BILLIONAIRES:
But there are many inspiring examples of self-made billionaires who have proved such assumptions and notions wrong, they defied similar difficulties by sheer planning and determination and went from rags to riches. There are also ample examples of school and college dropouts who have had to sleep on footpaths or sell vegetables or consumer items in trains initially for survival but still, made it big by sheer determination and overcame their shortcomings, be it financial or educational.

The Sword & The Dollar $6.99 T o many, the foreign policy directives of the United States seem bewildering and sometimes inharmonious with its domestic political values. Why does the U.S. seem to support foreign dictators? Why has it invested so many of its resources in stockpiling nuclear arms? Why doesn't the U.S. act as a force for peace throughout the world? In this probing, provocative analysis, Michael Parenti reveals the hidden agenda of American foreign policy decsisions. No matter which party is in power, the U.S. acts to protect the interests of large American-based corporations, in order to maintain valuable overseas markets and cheap foreign labor. In lucid detail, Michael Parenti examines just how these very private interests determine America’s public policy goals, from the impoverishment of developing nations to the building of an intimidating nuclear arsenal. What he discovers will surely be controversial and suggests that the greatest threats to democracy—both here and abroad—may emanate from within the United States itself. |
