Later on, a more advanced system, which was a combination of the numerical and alphabetical systems like PO-1, FR-2, AG-3, VF-20, XF-40, MS-60, MS-70 and so on, was introduced.
Professional Coin Grading System (PCGS), as it came to be known, had the technology to distinguish between fake and genuine ones. This ensured trading in the open market easy. NGS Numeric Guaranty Corporation, ANACS and ICG are other coin systems that have been developed.
