The answer to the dilemma is as simple and as complex as it has always been down through the centuries; but the advice still holds good. How can I get what wealth I have managed to generate to this point in my life, safely protected before the next wave of the "Great Recession" (See 'The Trends Journal' - Gerald Celente) hits - and it will - and sooner than you know. It has been a very long time - longer than most of you reading this article have been walking the earth - since we last saw a depression that touched the lives of everyone - but it is here now, and it is going to get a lot worse - and for a lot longer - than any Government is going to let on about.
This will touch all aspects of your life - and we will deal with that in other articles - but it will particularly affect - in a debilitating and very deflationary way - the value of your assets, if you do nothing to protect them.
So where can you go? Well - I wish I could carry the mantle of being a visionary in all matters 'wealth' related, but there are many who have gone before me - and I am sure, many who will follow in years to come - who will regurgitate this same advice - and it is none the less valid in the re-telling.
Move into "Precious Metals" - and for the sake of brevity and not repeating those two words ad nauseam in this article, lets just paraphrase and use the collective word - GOLD.
Why move in to Gold? History has a very fat finger pointing resolutely at that commodity throughout time. It has a USP that has never been copied by other forms of investment. You can look at Currencies (remember the Weimar Mark in Hitler's Germany? The currency in today's Zimbabwe?) or at Share Prices (What is the current price for Woolworths? Barings? Sun American?) and what do they have in common, that has never happened to Gold? They have fallen to a value of ZERO....
And yet the value of Gold is rising, and will continue to do so, and usually, in times of crisis, at a rate that reflects the seriousness of the dilemma we face. Trading at over $1131 per Oz today - up from an average of $445 per Oz in 2005 - an exponential rise - that will just keep on climbing.
