Located in southeast Washington, it couldn't be any further from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The city's love for art is also revealed by the scores of public statues that dot the city, a result of a public initiative approved by the city to put up public art to enhance the city. Just as the wine industry must be experienced, the city's artist culture and public displays should not be missed by any vacation-goer.
Outdoor activities are also a staple in the life of the average resident here, and Walla Walla has no shortage of outdoor activities. Indeed, the first thing a traveler going to Walla Walla notices are the Blue Mountains on the horizon that give visitors and residents alike a chance to marvel and appreciate unaltered nature. The Blue Mountains have alot of activities that allow visitors to experience nature and the outdoors.
