Papaya Beauty Mask for Glowing Skin

Papaya is an excellent source of vitamins C and A, potassium, magnesium and fiber, making it a powerful ant-oxidant with numerous health and wellness benefits. But did you know that papaya is also an excellent beauty ingredient for glowing skin? It is the exfoliating, whitening and even healing properties of papaya that makes it a natural beauty enhancer. As an exfoliant, it helps remove dead and damaged skin, which exposes fresh new glowing skin. It also helps in evening out skin color by reducing brown spots caused by sun exposure. And lastly, papaya is also used in wound care, including burn wounds, due to its antibacterial and wound healing capabilities.  

So as a great beauty treat for healthy, glowing skin, try creating your own homemade papaya facial mask. This natural beauty recipe is something you can make using common ingredients you can find at home.

Simply mix together the following ingredients in a large bowl:
1/2 cup mashed papaya
1 whipped egg white
1 teaspoon of honey

For additional cooling or if you have sensitive skin, add a tablespoon of plain yogurt to your mixture.

Application:
Wash your skin before applying the facial mask mixture.  
Apply the mask all over the face.
Leave the mask on your face for approximately five to eight minutes, giving the papaya enzymes time to exfoliate your skin.  
Rinse off with warm water first, then with cooler water, patting dry when done.
