In 1954, Canadian Bank Note series was the third series of Canadian bank notes. There was another variety of this series, published two years later, in 1956. Although published in 1954, the third order of the Bank of Canada bank notes have been prepared in 1952. This is due to the Queen Elizabeth II, taking the crown in 1952.
Although the 1954 Convention banknotes are very different from the Canadian Bank Notes, 1937 notes are always bilingual and all notes are the same color they did in the series 1937. All notes have the Queen Elizabeth II on the picture before them, and is the only series of banknotes that what happened.
